The space
Gentle mountain air drifts through the wrap‑around porches as soft light glints off the still water of Douglas Lake. In the quiet of winter, you can curl up by the indoor fireplace, let the hot tub steam rise against the crisp night, and hear the faint echo of arcade games from the private gaming room. The cabin invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the calm rhythm of a lakeside retreat even when the lake is resting beneath the snow.
Sleeping arrangements
One king bedroom on the main level offers an ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. Two queen‑over‑queen bunk rooms on the second level provide cozy lofted sleeping for families or groups. A shared full bathroom serves the upper bedrooms, while a queen sleeper sofa in the living room adds flexibility. A half bathroom on the main level adds convenience. The cabin sleeps 12 across 3 bedrooms and 6 beds.
Indoor living
Smart TVs are placed in each bedroom and the living room for relaxed evenings. An indoor fireplace warms the main floor on cooler days, and a private arcade with a multicade cabinet, Big Buck Shooter, and foosball table invites friendly competition. Board games, high‑speed wifi, and a dedicated workspace keep everyone entertained and productive.
Kitchen & dining
A fully equipped kitchen lets you prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a hearty dinner after a day outdoors. A gas BBQ grill is ready for al fresco cooking, and dining spaces inside and on the porches let you enjoy meals with lake views whenever the weather permits.
Outdoor living
The cabin sits on eight private acres with wrap‑around porches that frame panoramic lake scenery year‑round. A fire pit offers a warm gathering spot for colder evenings, and a hot tub provides soothing bubbles under the winter sky. A private double‑decker dock includes a sun deck, swim platform, and covered boat slip; direct lake access is seasonal (mid‑Sept to mid‑Apr) and the lake is currently drained, with refilling expected around mid‑April. The steep driveway has ample turn‑around space; 4WD may be needed when snow or ice is present.
Family‑friendly features
A pack and play and high chair are provided for small children. The home is pet‑friendly for up to two dogs. Laundry amenities, fresh linens, room‑darkening shades, extra pillows and blankets ensure comfort for longer stays.
Neighborhood
Indian Creek Boat Ramp lies about three miles away for guests who bring a boat once the lake refills. The surrounding Smoky Mountain region offers year‑round outdoor adventures, fresh air, and nearby attractions within easy reach.

Misleading listing, unsafe conditions, and unacceptable host response This cabin was a really good gettaway for our little family. Was willing to take our dogs, which was a huge plus. The rooms were great with fantastic mattresses on all beds, tvs in all the bedrooms which was a great amenity, and games for us to play on the rainy weekend. The grounds were great and nicely maintained, and the walkway to the lake bed (yes, the lake was drained since it was winter time) was really easy to traverse and sturdy. The cabin floors creak when walking, but should be expected as it is a wooden structure. One thing that should be considered (it’s for sure not a negative, just a little info) is the driveway to get to the cabin was scary steep (coming from a family familiar with mountain roads), as we couldn’t see if the drive turned one way or the other past the end of our car hood until we were facing downwards. The hosts were super reaponsive and accomodating and we would recommend staying at the cabin to anyone who asks. J

Our stay was fantastic! Even better then what we imagined, our host was so polite and welcoming, he was very quick to respond to any and all questions that we had. He went even went a step furher to make sure he looked into situation at hand to give me as much information as possible. Which we were very grateful. As far as the cabin, the cabin was so comfortable for all 6 of us. Very open layout with lots of family games. As far as the lake, unfortunately when we arrived it was the time of year that the lake is pumped out so the lake was completely dry. But still so beautiful! Thanks again will be coming back next time we head to Tennessee.
