Welcome to Knasgowa! - Knasgowa, meaning "Heron" in the Cherokee language, symbolizes peace and harmony. We decided to name the cabin as a tribute to these birds that often fish behind the cabin.
This private (Direct Access) lakefront retreat features 3 king bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and 2 dogs. Situated on 8 private waterfront acres with just a few steps to Douglas Lake makes the backyard truly feel endless.

Driveway At The Lake House
* The driveway is steep but there is plenty of space to use as a turn around to pull down the driveway driving forward and turn around at the base of the driveway to pull out forward. In the winter time, 4WD might be needed if there is snow or ice on the driveway.
Small Kids
* We provide a pack and play and high chair.

* Your lock code will be sent to you 24 hours prior to your arrival. You do not need to pick up any keys.
Military, Veteran, Police & Firefighter Discount
We are proud to offer all Current Military, Veterans, Police & Firefighters a 5% discount. In order to receive this discount, you must make your reservation first then send us a message with a copy of your proof of service. The name on the reservation and payment must match the name on the proof of service. We will then refund 5% of the accommodation back to you in the resolution center the day of your check in.
Starter Pack and Linens: Included are towels, hand towels, washcloths, makeup wipes, sheets, quilts, extra blankets, pillows, and more. You will receive a sponge, dishwasher pods, detergent pods, travel-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, bar soap, and other extras we like to surprise you with.
Guests will have full access to the entire home, excluding a few owners closets.

Indian Creek Boat Ramp is available for your use to bring your own boat to this property. It's located just 3 miles from this property. We recommend to park your trailer at the boat ramp.

Amenities
Beach access – Beachfront
Everything about this place was amazing and quite and so enjoyable. The only thing I didn't care for was the driveway it was steep lol. But that being said it was so beautiful. Everyone was happy. My husband and I needed some quiet time and that’s what we got. If we wanted to shop or eat out, it was a short drive to pigeon forge or Gatlinburg. We enjoyed the peaceful lake view. We definitely would stay here again. The location of the lake house was amazing! It was secluded and had great water frontage. The house comfortably accommodated my family of four. We enjoyed our stay at Joe's well-appointed house. Even though the water was not full in the lake yet, we had a great time and would recommend it to others.
