Our stay in the mountains was really beautiful. The hot tub was perfect to warm my bones after a cold day at Dollywood. The kiddos enjoyed the pool and it was safely locked away when parents weren't awake yet. Our host was very responsive to all inquiries. one thing to note it that the drive up although paved, is steep at some areas and there are a couple sharp turns. I have mountain road anxiety that is really bad, so I will admit, I walked the last bit of the way up and down to avoid the worst of it. most people will be just fine in normal vehicles unless there in snow or ice. I really love those mountain views (but hate the roads.) The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and kid friendly items that our littlest enjoyed. The big kids and adults enjoyed playing pool together and finding out which parents were pool sharks back in the day. There is a really nice card table too, and a ton of games and puzzles available for all.
