Welcome to Knasgowa! - Knasgowa, meaning "Heron" in the Cherokee language, symbolizes peace and harmony. We decided to name the cabin as a tribute to these birds that often fish behind the cabin.
This private (Direct Access) lakefront retreat features 3 king bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and 2 dogs. Situated on 8 private waterfront acres with just a few steps to Douglas Lake makes the backyard truly feel endless.
You'll never need to leave the cabin as Knasgowa is jam packed with fun activities and amenities for the whole family.

Driveway At The Lake House
* The driveway is steep but there is plenty of space to use as a turn around to pull down the driveway driving forward and turn around at the base of the driveway to pull out forward. In the winter time, 4WD might be needed if there is snow or ice on the driveway.
Small Kids
* We provide a pack and play and high chair.

* Your lock code will be sent to you 24 hours prior to your arrival. You do not need to pick up any keys.
Military, Veteran, Police & Firefighter Discount
We are proud to offer all Current Military, Veterans, Police & Firefighters a 5% discount. In order to receive this discount, you must make your reservation first then send us a message with a copy of your proof of service. The name on the reservation and payment must match the name on the proof of service. We will then refund 5% of the accommodation back to you in the resolution center the day of your check in.
Starter Pack and Linens: Included are towels, hand towels, washcloths, makeup wipes, sheets, quilts, extra blankets, pillows, and more. You will receive a sponge, dishwasher pods, detergent pods, travel-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, bar soap, and other extras we like to surprise you with.
Guests will have full access to the entire home, excluding a few owners closets.

Indian Creek Boat Ramp is available for your use to bring your own boat to this property. It's located just 3 miles from this property. We recommend to park your trailer at the boat ramp.

Beach access – Beachfront
This lake house was the perfect place to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday with our family! It was relaxing, private and peaceful. The house was exactly as described and had everything you would need for a lake vacation.<br/>The driveway is pretty steep but not as bad as we expected it to be. The only downside is we had a hard time getting our boat trailer to fit/get turned around at the bottom of the driveway but we got it figured out after some maneuvering, just be aware that some trailers may not work with the driveway. There is plenty of flat parking for vehicles without trailers though. <br/>The dock was perfect and we were able to keep our bass boat protected for the weekend which is a plus. The location was great because you’re far enough away from all the traffic but also close enough to the attractions. We throughly enjoyed our stay and hated that we had to go back to reality! The lake house was perfect! Quiet and peaceful. Thank you Justin for hosting such a lovely place. Place was well equipped peaceful. Little remote bit far from attractions place was great for peaceful time at lake would recommend to others Easy to find. Beautiful, peaceful private spot rite on the water with a nice private dock. Inside the house we enjoyed the fuse ball table and the nostalgia from the arcade games! The property was perfect for our 2 dogs as well. There's no doubt, we'll definitely be back!
