The space
Mist rolls through the valleys each morning as soft winter light lifts over the Smoky Mountains, turning the peaks into a quiet backdrop for your stay. Warm air greets you the moment you step through the door, and gathering spaces invite you to unwind after exploring the crisp, cold air. Evenings beckon you to soak in the hot tub or watch the sunset from the upper decks while the mountains glow in the distance.
Sleeping arrangements
Seven bedrooms host a total of 13 beds for up to 26 guests. Six bedrooms each have an ensuite bathroom and feature a mix of king beds, a full‑over‑full bunk, and a king bed paired with a queen‑over‑bunk. The game room adds full‑over‑full bunks and a full bath, while a sleeper sofa in the sky lounge is paired with a nearby half bathroom. A separate kids bunk room and gaming space provides additional full‑size beds, creating flexible sleeping options for families and groups.
Indoor highlights
A private indoor heated swimming pool offers year‑round enjoyment, with warm water and mountain views visible through the windows. Multiple entertainment levels include golf, racing and flight simulators, a billiards table, poker table, Air Strike motion arcade, racing arcade and board games. Large TVs are scattered throughout, highlighted by a 98‑inch streaming TV on the rooftop gaming level, so you can follow movies or game day from several angles. The home also features an indoor fireplace, high‑speed wifi, a sound system, Smart TVs and dedicated workspaces.
Outdoor living
Balconies, a private sky deck and several decks provide sunrise and sunset vistas even in winter’s cooler air. Outdoor dining areas, a back deck, an upper deck, a front porch and a hot tub create space to enjoy the season with layers and warm drinks. A gas grill, a charcoal grill and propane for the gas grill are available for year‑round cooking.
Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is equipped with cooking basics, a stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, coffee makers and a large dining table designed for group meals. Open common areas make it easy to gather before heading out to the nearby Parkway or returning from the mountains.
Resort amenities
Smith Creek Resort amenities are included from March through December, granting access to a lazy river, mini golf, a resort‑style pool, cabanas, splash pad, pickleball court, outdoor movie theater, pool tables, table tennis and a hot tub. When these facilities are out of season, you still have the indoor pool, indoor gaming levels and expansive common areas to enjoy.

The Smith Creek Reserve is under construction, so occasional noise and vehicle activity may be heard, though the home’s insulation keeps it limited inside. Prices are discounted due to the construction and refunds are not available.

best temporary rental we have ever stayed in with so many amenities We had a wonderful stay in The Great Escape. The home is very close to town, making it easy to come and go as you please. The kids (and adults) loved all the games in the home as well as the indoor swimming pool. Had a minor issue with the internet upon arrival, but the host quickly responded with any of our questions and it was fixed in no time. Would stay again!
